“We all grew up with different influences and marveled or
enjoyed certain aspects of the “era” in which we discovered … life. For me it
was much about music, more than any other art form. Certainly, females, sports,
experimenting with ‘things’ and general trouble making were a part of it but as
I remember those times – music was always a part of it.”
People will argue forever about who was the founding fathers
of punk rock. The British invasion part two, brought to the shores of the US
rancid music and political angst and nastiness in music like never before. I
don’t care who started it; the start was before my time. I just know I enjoyed
it.
Walk down or slam dance down memory lane with Johnny Rotten,
Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock/Sid Vicious otherwise known as the SexPistols.
